James Galbraith

James Galbraith is Chairman of CKD Galbraith and in charge of the Edinburgh office. He heads the Commercial Property Team, which is responsible for the management of significant commercial portfolios located principally in the north of England and Scotland. James, formerly the senior partner in Cluttons (Scotland), also oversees the rural professional consultancy in the Edinburgh office.

Tim Kirkwood

Tim Kirkwood is Chief Executive of CKD Galbraith and is based in Inverness where he provides management services and consulting to a wide range of clients. An Honours graduate in Ecology, he has particular expertise in aquaculture work. Tim was formerly managing partner of CKD Finlayson Hughes.

Chris Addison-Scott

Chris Addison-Scott runs the Glasgow office and leads the Rural Estate Management team based in Ayr and Glasgow. Chris is a specialist in urban fringe estates and is involved in management and consultancy on several Scottish islands.

Wattie Barbour

Wattie Barbour heads up the Land Agency Department in the Perth office and has over 25 years experience in the Scottish rural property market. He is also involved in general practice work including property valuation and overseeing utility work.

John Bound

John Bound is based in the Inverness office. He joined the Partnership of Finlayson Hughes in 1985 and is head of the Estate Agency Department in the north, specialising in the buying and selling of country houses, farms and estates. He also undertakes estate management and rural valuation work.

Bob Cherry

Bob Cherry has been closely involved in the property market around Glasgow, Ayrshire and south-west Scotland for the last 20 years. He is responsible for estate agency and lettings, valuations and other residential and rural property services provided by the Ayr and Glasgow offices.

Calum Innes

Calum Innes leads the Commercial Property Department based in the Perth office. He and his department provide a range of agency, consultancy and professional services to private clients across the various commercial property sectors.

In addition, Calum and various specialists within his team provide planning consultancy services and seek to add value to existing land assets through the planning process; principally in relation to residential development. As a consequence, the department has been responsible for a vast array of development land disposals throughout Scotland together with building a substantive estate agency tailored to the new build market.

Calum has held a number of outside appointments including external examiner for the University of Aberdeen and faculty chairman of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in Scotland. At present he holds an elected position to sit on the International Governing Council of RICS.

William Jackson

William Jackson heads up the Estate Agency Department in the Perth office. He has been active in the rural property market since 1980 and concentrates on the sales, purchases and valuations of all types of rural property including houses and castles, farms and estates.

Pam Over

Pam Over is involved in the running of the Edinburgh and Glasgow Commercial Departments. She is project manager on major schemes and has experience in all aspects of the property development process.

Robert Rattray

Robert Rattray leads the firm’s Sporting and Holiday Letting Departments from the Perth office. He has been involved in property and field sports for 25 years. Robert specialises in sporting lettings, with an active input into the sales and management of sporting estates.

Iain Russell

Iain Russell works from the Inverness office and is involved in wide-ranging management, consultancy and valuation work on property throughout Scotland. He worked in central Scotland, south east England, overseas and London and has been based in Inverness since 1990.

Edward Holt

Edward Holt heads up the Commercial Property Management Department based in Edinburgh providing property and asset management services to a wide range of commercial investor clients. He has been involved in all aspects of property management for 20 years throughout Scotland and the North and Midlands of England as well as also specializing in Shopping Centre Management.

Pamela Gray MA Dip LE FRICS

Based in our Edinburgh office.

Mike Reid BSc MRICS FAAV

Mike Reid heads up the Firm's Utilities Department, with particular expertise in telecommunications and windfarm work, and is based in our Cupar office.  He is also involved in all aspects of rural estate management and professional work in Scotland and the North of England.

Simon Brown MRICS FAAV

Simon Brown is based in the Castle Douglas office and is primarily involved in agency work specialising in the sale, purchase and valuation of Country Houses, Farms and Estates.

Since leaving the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester in 1985 Simon has been actively involved in the rural property market, property development and Agriculture and has a comprehensive knowledge of these subjects.

James Hodge BLE MRICS

James Hodge is based in the Glasgow office and is primarily involved in farm and estate management.  He is also involved in compulsory purchase, utilities work and other professional work throughout Scotland.
