A £1.62 million multi-let office investment within Edinburgh’s old town, extending to 9,461 sq ft

CKD Galbraith were originally appointed as managing agents for this building, however this has since developed into a full asset management role.

The client holds a block of Grade B listed property on George Street, Edinburgh which had suffered years of neglect through being badly managed. As a pension fund manager their brief was to seek long term income security and have the building fabric brought into a state of repair that would last at least fifty years. We were asked to provide a feasibility report on the block.

As part of our Asset Management Service, our Building Surveying Department was appointed to prepare and negotiate the terminal schedule of dilapidations with the outgoing tenant and at the same time prepare a detailed description of works and tender document for competitive pricing.
