CKD Galbraith’s Ayr office have been appointed Official Letting Agents by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club for the Open Championship which takes place at Turnberry in July 2009.

As Official Letting Agents, the firm expects to let around 300 houses within 20 miles of the course ranging from one bedroom studios to country houses and mansions. Tenants include golfers and their support team, media and golf related businesses attending the Championship, companies providing corporate hospitality and visitors to the event.

The letting period is for 10 days from 11 July to 20 July 2009 and CKD Galbraith are seeking well appointed houses within 20 miles of the course. The houses should have a minimum of 2 bathrooms. Rents payable vary greatly depending on house size and proximity to the course; from £1,000 to £30,000 for the 10 day period.
