CKD Galbraith were appointed to design and manage the refurbishment and alteration of the entire ground floor of the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow.
This incorporates the main reception, dining room, café, day care and complimentary therapies.

Tendering & interviews were progressed by CKD Galbraith to appoint other members of the design team which comprised, services consultant, interior designer and CDM Coordinator. Listed Building Consent, Building Warrant and Planning Permission were all obtained by CKD Galbraith. A main contractor was appointed following a detailed tender procedure with all information generated or controlled by CKD Galbraith. Works have been completed to a high standard on time and on budget. Changes to the layouts during construction were required due to the clients need to provide additional clinical facilities, these changes were managed by CKD Galbraith and were contained within the original programme.
