Getting the right options for your home

Making solar work for your business

SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC - OPTIMISING THE BENEFITS OF SCOTLAND'S WEATHER
Despite Scotland’s natural strengths in wind, hydro and biomass – solar photovoltaic (solar PV) can still be a very attractive option. However, with so many providers and so many options, it can be difficult to make the right decisions.

Our experience
We have provided advice to clients who have installed solar PV panels, helping them through the whole process, from choosing a contractor, to providing advice on the returns likely and negotiating costs for the project.

How we can help
Our building surveyors provide technical assistance for building structures to put your solar panels on, while our renewables team carries out assessments of potential income from the project. Our Planning department can check the planning policies in you area and if your solar project needs planning permission, they can submit applications on your behalf and guide you though the process. We’ll help you understand the Government’s proposed changes to the Feed in Tariff (FiT) – making the right decisions could make a big difference to your bottom line.

Get in touch
We are happy to discuss with you any solar PV project you may be considering, why not speak to Fiona Samson, one of our experts in the energy team.
