PA/SECRETARY

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN/WAYLEAVE NEGOTIATOR
PERTH
We are looking for a suitable individual to join their Energy Team based in Perth. The successful applicant will be involved in the delivery of a wide range of Energy and other utility projects throughout Scotland.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Liaising with statutory and key consultees on wayleave and planning aspects as well as engaging with the public, landowners and others at various stages of a project
- Advising on environmental and other constraints
- Negotiating and securing required landowner permissions
- Assessment and negotiation of claims arising as a consequence of a project
- Liaising with agents, legal representatives and other professionals and reporting project progress to client
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Be conversant with office IT systems including GIS packages
- Be highly motivated, organised and flexible, driven by successful project completion targets
- Have relevant previous experience and knowledge with regard to energy infrastructure projects
The role involves substantial travel and there may be occasions where an overnight stay will be required. A full driving licence is required. Salary commensurate with experience.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative and attention to detail for this post located on the edge of the Highlands, working with a broad range of clients across the North East of Scotland .
